A group of children, all with diverse learning needs, works with a catechist or group of catechists. The child spends part of the time in a typical classroom (often with a teen faith mentor, parent, or assistant catechist) and the rest of the time in a one-on-one setting or a group program for children with diverse learning needs.The child receives catechesis in a typical classroom with a level of support that works best for him or her, such as%u25b6 lesson adaptations for the child or the whole class%u25b6 teen faith mentor, parent, or assistant catechist working with the class or childCatechetical Settings for a Diverse LearnerA child with diverse learning needs might learn best in a certain setting and also might learn best at a level or pace that is different from peers. Adaptive Finding God takes these learning situations into account and provides a customizable program. It provides flexible options for settings, ranging from one-on-one to group catechesis, as well as two adaptable levels: Hands-On Level and Adapted Grade Level.
