Monthly Group MeetingsParents and children begin each meeting together in community with other families. After the Welcome portion, children meet with their grade-level catechists, where they are taught a chapter from the Christ Our Life Student Book. The program leader uses the slideshow presentation to teach parents more about the part theme during the Connect and Close sections. Parents complete their meeting 15 minutes before their children%u2019s gradelevel lesson concludes. This allows time for questions, conversations between parents, and time for parents to pick up their children from their grade-level classes.Ongoing CatechesisIn the weeks after the monthly group meeting, parents catechize their children at home using the Christ Our Life Student Book in conjunction with the At-Home Edition. Alternatively, children can return each week and be taught a grade-level catechist. The At-Home Edition provides parents with easy-to-follow instructional support designed for an in-home setting. Parents can find additional resources at christourlife.com. Monitor Progress After children complete each chapter, they can take that lesson%u2019s corresponding Interactive Chapter Review by scanning the QR code on the review page in the Student Book. This way children%u2019s understanding can be gauged and progress can be charted. Determine in advance the best way for parents to share the results of this assessment with you. Consider keeping a chart or spreadsheet on which you can track children%u2019s progress.SAMPLE
