Program OverviewFamily Catechesis Program More than ever, it is vital that parishes provide fl exible models of catechesis to accommodate the shifting faith formation landscape. The increase in distance learning and home-based catechesis means that parents are called to become their children%u2019s primary catechists.The Christ Our Life Family Catechesis Program helps parents grow in their own faith while guiding their children in core faith formation.Families return for another group meeting in approximately one month to prepare for the next unit.Children return each week and are taught by their grade-level catechist each session.OPTION 2Parents catechizetheir children at home using parent-friendly materials. Session 1 Sessions 2%u20135 Next UnitFamilies gather with the program leader and experience a slideshow presentation on the unit theme. Parents stay with the leader for the continuation of the presentation and for catechetical preparation. While this takes place, children go with their grade-level catechists to complete the first session.OPTION 1Family Catechesis is sold annually over a four-year cycle and delivered digitally. Once downloaded, the materials are yours to keep. Order each additional year and receive new slideshow presentations, complete with notes and everything necessary to deliver the content to families.
