Tell Jesus%u2019 story about how God cares for all creatures.%u2022 Jesus wanted people to know that God our Father cares for everything he makes and that God cares for people so much more.%u2022 In the Bible, Jesus tells us about God%u2019s loving care. %u2022 Read aloud God Loves and Cares for Us.God Loves and Cares for UsLuke%u2019s Gospel tells us that one day, Jesus was teaching people about his Father. He wanted them to know that God the Father loves and cares for us more than anything else in the world. Jesus told the people to look at the birds in the sky. He said that birds don%u2019t plant seeds or store food in storehouses or barns. Yet, God our Father feeds them. Jesus said we are much more important than birds. Then Jesus pointed out the flowers that grow wild in the field. He reminded the people that flowers don%u2019t spin thread or weave cloth to make clothes. Yet not even a king has clothes as beautiful as theirs. Jesus told the people that if this is how God clothes the wild grass in the field, which is here today and gone tomorrow, he will take much more care of us. Jesus said that God%u2019s people are worth so much more than the birds and the flowers. We can trust in God and not worry anymore.
